Brand safety policy

Brand safety is one of Monetizr’s core values. We take brand safety assurance seriously.

Monetizr will take reasonable actions to minimize the risk of a misplacement on its platform.

Monetizr will have its campaigns SDK integrated only with application publisher partners, which gives brands control over the environments they run in. The publishing team manually verifies all applications before they receive any non-test traffic to ensure that applications only contain appropriate content for brand campaigns.

Targeting is used to exclude brand from apps and content categories they may find objectionable to their overall brand image.

Forbidden Content

The listed categories are prohibited across applications where campaigns are served. Applications identified across these content categories are blocked.

  • Hate Speech
  • Offensive Language
  • Illegal downloads and streaming
  • Violence
  • Adult Content
  • Gambling with actual currency

If any of the above is detected, the application will be removed from campaigns and our team will research the content of the application.


When a challenge appears in an application which a client sees as inappropriate or brand unsafe, they have to contact Monetizr. The challenge might be paused while our team investigates the event.

Takedown requests received will be actioned within working hours, or within the timescales specified in individual terms and conditions. The consequences of not taking down a challenge in accordance with the takedown policy are agreed with the client on a case by case basis.

Third Party Verification

To limit potential issues of brand safety and fraud every challenge is closely monitored, ensuring high-quality traffic in brand-safe environments throughout supply.

Monetizr can also create relationships with verification and attribution companies on a challenge basis, should our client choose to work with a third-party solution.
